Kane

Say hello to Kane, a majestic 3-year-old pedigree German Shepherd! He's a medium-sized GSD, weighing 65 lbs, with a stunning tan and black coat, intelligent eyes, and ears that are truly something special! Kane's dad was an explosive K9 handler and trainer, so Kane received excellent training. Unfortunately, his dad's job change means Kane is often left alone and spends too much time in his crate. Long Road Home is helping Kane find a new loving home where he can have the freedom to play and enjoy the life he deserves. He knows all his basic commands, loves playing with other dogs, and is great with everyone he meets. He adores his 14-year-old human sister and, while he's not a fan of his 2-year-old toddler sibling due to unpredictable toddler behavior like pulling, he has never been aggressive. He simply tries to avoid the toddler when playtime gets too rough.

Ideal Home

Kane would thrive in a loving home with a family familiar with German Shepherds, who understand their need for leadership, guidance, and a nurturing environment. He would do best with older children, as toddlers and babies can be too unpredictable. A fully fenced yard would be a dream, and while he'd love a doggie sibling, he would also be happy as a solo pup with engaged and active owners.

Kane is healthy, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and neutered.

Training & Support

Kane is housebroken and crate trained. He knows all his basic commands and is obedient.
