Pax is a handsome and affectionate American Staffordshire Terrier mix who's ready to bring a whole lot of fun and love into your life! This 78-lb bundle of joy is a master of snuggles and will happily follow you around, making sure you're never alone. He greets every morning with enthusiasm and approaches car rides like they're the best adventure. Pax is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, and he's the ultimate companion for binge-watching sessions on the couch.
Ideal Home
Pax would thrive in a home that appreciates his silly antics and devoted companionship. He's great with teens and could adjust well to apartment living or a home with a fenced yard. Pax can be a bit clumsy due to his size, so a home with children 10 and up is recommended. He does experience mild FOMO when his humans leave, but he just really wants to be part of the action!
Ongoing Health
Pax is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has been tested for heartworms and has been treated if needed.
Training & Support
Pax is a star student and is already crate and potty trained. He has shown himself to be a great big brother to the teens in his foster home. He walks well on a leash and loves his toys, especially plush ones.

Transporation
Pax is currently located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pickup is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
