Meet Kay Kay — short for Kangaroo Kevin! 🦘💛 And trust us… the name fits perfectly. Kay Kay is a young female Kelpie mix weighing in around 25–30 pounds of pure bounce, energy, and love. She earned her nickname because she literally jumps and bounces off her foster mom’s back like a little kangaroo. She'd be perfect for agility training! This sweet girl LOVES playing with her dog friends, zooming around the backyard, chewing on her Benebone, and being wherever the fun is. Kay Kay is house trained, kennel trained, and good with big and small dogs and cats. She is sweet, playful, and affectionate.
Ideal Home
Kay Kay is happiest and most confident at home, especially when she has a backyard to run in and another dog buddy to wrestle and play with. Because she is a herding breed and still learning boundaries, she is not recommended for homes with young children.
Ongoing Health
Kay Kay recently completed her heartworm injections. All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
Training & Support
While she’s completely comfortable in the house and yard, she can still be a little nervous walking on a leash in busy public places. She’ll need a patient adopter who understands she’s still building confidence with the outside world.

Transportation
This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. The local adoption fee for pick up in Gulfport, MS is $100. If you want the dog transported to New Orleans or Pensacola the total fee is $150.
