Churchill

Churchill is a 15-18 month old male who was found living in a church. He's described as a silly, goofy, funny, loving, and playful boy who acts like a cartoon character. Churchill enjoys walks, playtime, and relaxing by the window. His favorite toys are balls and he loves to play tug. He is not picky about food and eats anything.

Ideal Home

Churchill would love a home where he can be close to his people, leaning up against them. He gets worried by new experiences but usually adapts quickly. He has a strong prey drive and enjoys chasing cats. He is still learning how to interact appropriately with other dogs and can sometimes be a little "rude," accidentally starting fights, so he may do best as the only dog in the home or with a very patient and understanding canine companion who can show him the ropes.

Training & Support

Churchill is working on his manners, including "climb," "sit," "down," "stay," and loose-leash walking. He needs continued work on his doggy social skills to avoid altercations. He is crate-trained and comfortable sleeping in his crate at night, but also enjoys sleeping on his bed or cuddling on the couch when his family is home.
