Butter Bean

Butter Bean is a sweet and gentle 2.5-year-old, 80 lb male Terrier/Shepherd mix who is looking for his forever home. He was rescued as a young pup along with his two sisters and has grown into a sturdy, quiet, and smart boy. Butter Bean was the protective big brother, always looking out for his sisters. He loves to be petted and showered with affection and is good with children. While he's accustomed to spending his days outdoors and has some experience with other animals, including a little exposure to cats, he's ready to learn what indoor living is all about. His foster family says he barks at the donkey when it gets sassy, but he's eager to devote himself to his new family and learn his new role as a beloved pet. Ideal Home

Butter Bean would thrive in a home with a yard to run around in. He is accustomed to livestock and spending time outdoors, but is ready to learn to live indoors full-time with patient and loving guidance.

Ongoing Health

Butter Bean has had all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), has been spayed/neutered, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Butter Bean is smart and very trainable, and eager to learn and bond with his new family. He will benefit from patient guidance as he adjusts to indoor living.

Transportation

Butter Bean is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to his new home in various states along the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, and Maryland.
