Snickers is an adorable Chihuahua boy weighing about 7.7 lbs. He's a social butterfly who loves meeting new friends, whether they have two legs or four! Snickers is full of joy and energy, always ready for a good run and play. He's a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he's happiest when he's surrounded by people and companionship. Snickers isn't a big barker, preferring to communicate with his wagging tail and loving gazes. He sleeps comfortably in an open crate at night and is good about going in and out on his own. As a young and curious pup, chewing is one of his favorite hobbies, so his future family should be prepared to provide plenty of appropriate chew toys and guidance. Snickers was born into an uncertain future, where he and his littermates experienced neglect. We stepped in to ensure they would all have the chance to find loving homes. Now, Snickers is thriving and ready to trade uncertainty for security, with a lifetime of love to give in return.
Ideal Home
Snickers would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with the genuine intention to rescue a dog and an open conscience about the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Experience in dog behavior and training, or a willingness to hire a trainer, is essential. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are a must, as he is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Snickers has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test, negative heartworm test, monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive, and a health certificate with a vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Snickers is not house-trained and will need consistent guidance and patience from his new family. He enjoys chewing, so plenty of appropriate chew toys and supervision will be necessary.
