Nova

Nova is a stunning young German Shepherd with the most beautiful, soulful eyes. Born in September 2025, this sweet girl is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She came to us as a surrender and unfortunately, she didn't receive the socialization every puppy deserves. Because of this, Nova is currently scared of just about everything. She is a very much a flight risk, so extra caution with doors, leash handling, and secure fencing will be essential while she adjusts and gains confidence.

Ideal Home

Nova needs a patient and committed adopter who understands that trust and confidence take time to build. She absolutely loves other dogs and takes comfort in them, so a confident, friendly canine companion in the home could be a huge help for her.

Training & Support

Nova is very much a flight risk and will need a secure environment. She gets braver every day and is committed to using positive reinforcement only. Nova will not thrive with harsh corrections or force. What she needs most is someone willing to go at her pace, celebrate the small wins, and help her learn how to simply be a dog. She does great in a crate, which has been a safe place for her.
