Zane is a total heartthrob with a personality as bright as his smile! This 3-year-old boy is the full package — sweet, affectionate, calm, and full of love! Whether he’s goofing around with his friends, soaking up attention, or showing off his happy tail wags, Zane is pure sunshine in dog form. ☀️ Zane was brought to a high-kill Houston shelter as a stray alongside his buddy Rascal, and the two have been nothing short of amazing together. Their sweet and loving disposition bought them a ticket to life and they were rescued. Zane and Rascal can be adopted together or separately. Either way, this handsome boy is so ready to bring endless fun and affection to a lucky forever home.

Ideal Home

Zane needs a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Zane is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He is kept on heartworm and flea preventative.

Training & Support

Zane's foster parents, vets, and behaviorists have fully assessed him. Videos and video chats are available to observe his manners in public. The rescue is transparent and shares all positive and negative information with potential adopters to ensure a good fit.

Transporation

Zane is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada, to the right home. Transport fees are included in the adoption fee to several states in the United States.
