Oakley is an artist's dream with his strong features and beautiful markings! This 3-year-old Dogo Argentino mix is a loyal and protective friend with a side of goofy! He loves children and while he has lived with other dogs, he would flourish as a solo act since he enjoys his meals and toys without interference. Sharing is not his favorite activity, but ball-fetching is at the top of his list! Oakley prefers to be in the company of people and will sit, shake, and lie down without much asking. Treats are his friend, and he'll take all you will give! Oakley experiences separation anxiety without his people, so keeping him in a secure location when he is alone is the best policy for this handsome dude. After vacationing with fosters, Oakley has proven himself to be a great admirer of car rides, adores leash walks, and is super affectionate to his caregivers. His active and playful personality shines through, but he does have a wild side so he will still need training to not chew or claw the house down, and he will guard his food.

Ideal Home

Oakley would flourish as a solo act where he can enjoy his meals and toys without interference. He does experience separation anxiety when left alone, so a home where he won't be left for extended periods or has a secure space would be ideal.
