About Showgirl
You don't know the life of a showgirl, babe... but now you're gonna wanna! At just 1 year old, Showgirl is ready to take center stage in your living room. This beautiful 50-pound pittie mix has a look that's impossible to ignore, thanks to her spotted ears, deep brown eyes, and a black-and-white coat that's entirely her own. But she's so much more than a pretty face. Showgirl is outgoing, goofy, playful, and full of love. She proudly serves as your personal shadow, and her foster lovingly calls her "the nosy neighbor" because she always has to know what's happening around the house. Whether she's entertaining herself with one of her favorite toys or settling in for an encore of cuddles, she's happiest wherever her favorite people happen to be. She is house-trained, crate-trained, rides well in the car, and already knows "sit." Walking on a leash is new to her, but she's picking up the choreography quickly! Showgirl is a high-energy gal who thrives with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She'd love an active family who enjoys walks, playtime, and including her in the fun. She's a fan of older kids, but hasn't been around younger ones yet. She gets along great with the dogs in her foster home and would love to share the spotlight with another canine co-star, but it isn't required. Showgirl has some old scars that suggest her past wasn't always easy. Because of that, she can be cautious when meeting unfamiliar dogs and needs slow, positive introductions to help her feel comfortable. She would do best with experienced dog owners who are committed to continuing her training and helping her build confidence. She's come so far, and she's more than ready for her next era. So... are you ready for a ticket to the best show of your life? Showgirl is hoping her biggest fan is reading this right now.
