About Laia

Meet Laia — a sweet and playful 1.5-year-old, 49 lb Lab mix with a heart full of love and paws ready for adventure! Laia is a social butterfly who adores other dogs and would love living with a canine sibling to romp and snuggle with, though it isn't necessary. She's also cat-friendly and loves being around people, especially if they're up for a cuddle session or a game of tug with her favorite chew toys! With her bouncy energy and playful spirit, Laia is happiest in a home with a fenced yard or an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, and trips to the dog park. Laia is a sensitive soul who is working on her confidence with doorways and can be a bit jumpy when excited, but she's learning quickly and already knows basic commands like "sit" and "come." She adores hard chew bones, but fluffy toys tend to get destroyed! Laia is looking for a loving, patient home where she can continue to grow and thrive, ideally with someone who works from home or is retired, has a fenced yard, and is ready to give her the attention and companionship she craves. If you’re ready for a loyal, lively, and lovable sidekick, Laia is ready to leap into your life and heart!

Ideal Home

Laia would do best in a home with a fenced yard. She is good with dogs, cats, and children, but can jump when excited, so a home with adults or older children would be ideal. She prefers not to be left alone for too long.

Ongoing Health

Laia is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Laia is house-trained and crate-trained. She is working on not jumping and gaining confidence with doorways. She walks well on leash and prefers to stay on the right side.
