Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! This adorable 20lb Chihuahua mix, with an estimated birthday of February 12, 2023, is ready to find her forever home after a tough start. Nala spent weeks fending for herself, making a home out of a cardboard box and blankets, always hoping for someone to choose her. Now, safe and sound in foster care, she's blossoming into a playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy companion. She adores her toys and has a blast playing fetch by herself, tossing them up with delight!

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home that appreciates a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to continuing to build her confidence. Another dog would be a bonus but isn't a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She knows "sit" and "crate" and is currently working on "stay/wait." She walks well on a leash but is still learning to focus on her handler as everything around her is so exciting! While a little shy at first, she warms up within about 30 minutes to become your most loyal shadow.

Transporation

Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state, with ground transports operating weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You can track your dog's transport using the Life360 app or through Facebook chats.
