Mildred

Mildred is a sweet, resilient, and incredibly grateful girl who is more than ready to find her forever home. She was sadly abandoned in Bucerias, covered in motor oil and in poor health. Thanks to dedicated care and lots of love, Mildred has made a remarkable recovery and is now a healthy, affectionate companion.

Ideal Home

Mildred would thrive in a quiet home environment. She is great with teens but not suited for homes with young children.

Ongoing Health

Mildred is a survivor! She has fully recovered from anemia and ehrlichia. She is also a distemper survivor and may have a tiny sleep-time twitch.

Training & Support

Mildred is a calm, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle dog.

Transporation

Mildred is located in Vancouver, BC. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions during the summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. Volunteers have successfully assisted with border pickups, making this a great option.
