Freebie was born around August 4, 2019, and weighs about 20 pounds. She appears to have come from a puppy mill or backyard breeding situation. Freebie is very happy and comfortable in her current sanctuary home, where she has bonded with the other dogs. While she is still terrified of humans and flinches at touch, she is playful and happy with other dogs and will approach from a distance. She wags her tail when she sees her primary human caregiver, but runs if approached. Freebie uses a dog door and will join the other dogs in the TV room in the evening, though she remains independent. Freebie sheds.
