Hi, I'm Emmett! I'm a smart, handsome fellow looking for a patient and consistent home to call my own. I enjoy long walks and exploring the outdoors, and I'm a pro at jogging. While I can be a little unsure in new situations, I warm up with gentle guidance. I'm very food motivated and a quick learner, excelling in basic obedience. I love a good game of tug-of-war and am a champion toy destroyer, so I'll need plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep me happily occupied. I travel well in the car, am potty-trained, and sleep soundly in my kennel as part of a routine. I like to be in the same room as my people, but don't need constant attention. I've lived with cats and other dogs in the past, but I'd do best as the only pet in the home, though I enjoy playing with other dogs at daycare or away from home. I form a strong bond with my person and am eager to please with consistent training.

Ideal Home

A home with a male/guy owner who can provide consistent guidance and clear boundaries. A house would be ideal, as I can get a bit noisy, and an apartment is likely not a great fit. I need to be the only pet in the home.

I'm a smart boy who loves to learn and am very food motivated. I've completed basic obedience and know my commands. I'm still learning to manage my strength during play and need continued guidance with appropriate chewing. I thrive with consistency and clear boundaries.
