About Nova

Meet Nova!

Nova is a nine-and-a-half-year-old, 75-pound Labrador Retriever with a heart full of affection and the energy of a puppy. She’s a social butterfly who greets everyone with enthusiastic kisses and a wagging tail. Nova loves to play with her squeaky llama toy, show off her "sit" and "shake" commands, and cuddle on the couch after a good walk. She thrives on routine, including two daily walks and consistent mealtimes, which help her feel calm and secure. While she enjoys her human companions, she does have a mischievous side and has been known to investigate unattended snacks and mulch piles. A sturdy crate with a peanut butter Kong is recommended for when she's left alone.

Ideal Home

Nova would do best as the only pet in the home, as she prefers to be the center of attention. She needs a family that can provide her with patience, affection, and structure. She would also do well in a home with older children and active caregivers who can keep her engaged and exercised.

Ongoing Health

Nova has a sensitive stomach and can experience stress when left alone. With the right care and understanding, she blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.

Training & Support

Nova is house-trained and crate-trained. She has a bite history involving two incidents with other canines, and therefore, needs to be the only animal in the household. She does not show aggression toward people.
