Meet Rocky!

Rocky is a handsome 2-year-old boy whose life started with more loneliness than any dog should experience. He was found in the Texas heat, confined to an apartment balcony cage with a Chihuahua, with no escape from the sun and little understanding of the world beyond those bars. Despite his difficult past, Rocky's heart remains incredibly full of love. Now safe at the sanctuary, he’s discovered the joy of living. He loves being part of a pack, running freely, and soaking up all the attention he can get. Rocky greets everyone with excitement, trust, and a hopeful heart. He’s been in rescue for a long time and keeps getting overlooked, which is baffling given how loving and ready he is for a home. He’s a resilient soul who still believes his person is out there, someone who will choose him and never leave him behind again. He’s waited long enough! Could you be the one to give Rocky the life he’s been hoping for?

Transportation

Rocky is located at the sanctuary. Transport to the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast is available and included in his adoption fee of $350.
