Meet My Gilmore Girls. I am Becca, and this is all you need to know about me: My husband has forced me to sleep outside.... TWICE! On both occasions, I was understandably aghast when he banished my dogs to the backyard. Their crime? They had simply been victimized by a cruel skunk. My babies had never once spent the night outside! As a loving and protective mother, my only option was to give him an ultimatum - "If they sleep outside, I sleep outside!" (Background: He can't fall asleep without me and had many sleepless nights when I was in nursing school and stayed up late to study before exams.) I knew he would cave; he would not willingly go without sleep just to avoid their (murderously foul) stench. Unfortunately, he wouldn't budge. My toxic-smelling four-legged babies and I found ourselves defiantly marching down the back steps, blanket in hand, and climbing onto the trampoline. We slept together under the stars, just my babies and me. Two of the happiest nights of my life. AKC supports responsible breeders.
