Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix weighing around 60 lbs. He's a sweet, playful, and curious boy who is searching for his forever home! Chip is a true "Velcro dog" who loves to be by his people's side and will be your shadow everywhere you go. While he can be a little cautious when first meeting new people, he quickly blossoms into a devoted best friend once he trusts you. Chip is crate-trained, potty-trained, and enjoys being outdoors. He's also a fan of costumes and has been known to rock any outfit!
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can offer patience, safety, and endless love. He enjoys being outdoors and goes on sniffing walks, doing well on a leash. He has done well with calm and submissive doggy siblings who enjoy his playful energy, so slow introductions to other dogs are recommended. Chip would also do well as an only dog if he has opportunities for outings. However, he is not a good fit for homes with cats. Chip can experience anxiety when left alone but has been working on his separation anxiety and can be crated. He would do best with a family that can keep up with his training and would love to work with him. He has also done well around older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health issues.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety. He would love to continue working on his training with his new family.
