Puka is a funny and playful adult dog who is a real gentle giant with lots of love to give. He's affectionate and friendly, and once he's your best friend, he's forever! Puka is smart and curious, and loves to explore, so be sure to give him lots of opportunities to sniff around. His history with other dogs is terrific, and he truly is a friendly pup who is always up for a good time, so he would likely enjoy the company of other dogs as long as they are introduced properly. All vetting, including DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping, are included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Puka is well on his way to being the best dog he can be, thanks to the dedicated animal care professionals who have worked with him. He has received behavior and medical care, socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding, and has been worked on with leash training and basic commands. Families should be prepared to continue his training efforts with understanding.

Transporation

Puka is located in Angleton, TX. He is available for transport to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Transport buses are equipped with air conditioning, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow Puka's journey on a private Facebook Event page. Your adoption coordinator will help find the closest transport pick-up location to you.
