Ferdinand

Hi there! My name is Ferdinand, and I'm a 71-pound Bulldog mix with a heart as big as my squishy body. I can be a little anxious and unsure when it comes to new things, so I approach the world cautiously, taking my time to sniff and investigate everything to make sure it's safe. While I might be hesitant at first, once I feel comfortable, I absolutely adore affection and will happily soak up all the scratches you can give! As I relax, my playful and spunky side starts to shine through, and I just want to be as close to you as possible.

Ideal Home

I would really benefit from a patient home that can help build my confidence and provide the reassurance I need to feel secure. It may take me a little while to fully open up in a new environment, but once I do, I have so much love to give. What I need most is understanding, kindness, and people willing to let me move at my own pace while I learn to trust. Underneath my nervous moments is an incredibly sweet boy who just wants to feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
