Lainey

Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was brought in as a stray in November 2025, and she’s estimated to be around three years old. She has bloomed under her foster’s care, showing a personality like a "house hippo." She loves to sleep with her stuffed animals, enjoys short bursts of zoomies, and follows her foster’s two-year-old around the house. Lainey loves children, is dog-friendly, and cat-friendly! She enjoys long walks and doesn’t pull on the leash, staying right by your side. She rarely barks and is generally very quiet. Potty training is going well, and she hasn’t had an accident in a long time!

Ideal Home

Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets. She can get nervous around loud or energetic dogs and will try to hide. She is not bothered by loud noises from people or toddler tantrums.

Ongoing Health

Lainey is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue. All dogs receive a health exam and certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention, vaccinations, and deworming.

Training & Support

Lainey is potty-trained and walks well on a leash. She is generally quiet.

Transportation

Lainey is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for transport. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
