Rye is eager to please and is working on his leash manners, as he can be a bit excitable when walking. He is also social and polite with other dogs, particularly calm and self-assured females, and has shown to be cat-tolerant with a slow introduction. He adores children and will just need guidance to manage his enthusiasm around smaller ones.

Rye is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This service ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
