Meet Chestnut, a 2.5-year-old, 45lb Belgian Malinois mix with a heart as big as his love for life! Chestnut had a tough start, found as a puppy on the streets of Cabo San Lucas and recently recovering from surgery. Despite his past, he greets the world with incredible joy, trust, and an abundance of affection. He's the ultimate cuddle bug, cherishing moments by your side on the couch, gently pawing for your attention and looking at you as if you're the most amazing thing he's ever encountered. He's also playful, a little goofy, and very food-motivated – and yes, he loves fruit! Chestnut has blossomed in his foster home, gaining confidence and enjoying his walks and zoomies. He's content to relax at home when needed, is crate-trained, house-trained, and is diligently working on his leash manners. Chestnut is ready to bring his loyalty, cuddles, and boundless love to a forever family.

Ideal Home

Chestnut would thrive in a home with adults or older children (13+) who understand the commitment and joy of raising an energetic, loving dog as a true family member.

Chestnut is recovering from surgery.

Training & Support

Chestnut is house-trained, crate-trained, and working on his leash manners. He is food-motivated and loves fruit!
