BANE

Bane is a charming one-year-old with the most adorable speckled face! He was the very first of his litter to warm up and start making friends here at the shelter. Despite coming from difficult conditions, he arrived with a wagging tail and not much hesitation. Bane and his four sisters were rescued from a camper where they lived with their parents in unhealthy, unsocialized, and underfed circumstances. They are all safe and sound now, but they are truly learning what it means to "dog"! It's like having a newborn puppy in a one-year-old body, as they are starting their training journey a bit later than usual – but better late than never! Bane has already proven to be the smart and eager boy we knew he was destined to be. With continued support and confidence-building, he is sure to become an outstanding companion.

Ideal Home

Bane and his siblings are still a bit fearful of overwhelming situations, so a busy, high-traffic household would not be the best fit for him. A calmer environment where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Bane is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

As Bane is still learning to "dog," he is essentially starting his training from the beginning. Patience, positive reinforcement, and confidence-building will be key to his continued success. Slow and steady progress is the goal with this sweet boy!

Bane is currently located at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter at 967 Griffin Pond Rd, South Abington Twp, PA 18411. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
