Top of the morning to ya! My name’s Torin, and I’m a two and a half year old retriever-hound mix with a heart full of love and a tail that’s always wagging. I first came to the shelter as a stray in November 2023. I’ve had a couple of adventures in potential homes, but unfortunately, they didn’t work out. The first home had a cat who wasn't a fan of my friendly overtures, and the second home had a resident dog who wasn't keen on sharing his space. Now I'm back here, hoping to find my perfect forever family. The funny thing is, I'm actually great with dogs! I enjoy playing with both energetic pups and calmer companions, and I do wonderfully in large playgroups. The staff say I have a knack for "reading the room," which I think just means I'm a pretty easygoing guy. I'm also friendly with people of all ages, I've already been fixed, and I'm heartworm negative. I might be a little thick around the middle, but that just means there's more of me to love!
