Jack

Play. Snooze. Cuddle. Repeat. That's Jack! He is a sweet and playful senior Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to our shelter because his owner passed away. He has a sad story, but he's such a good boy and is ready to bring joy to a new home. Jack especially loves walks and sunshine. He is often caught rolling on his back, squirming around with pure joy. He also enjoys swimming and splashing around in the water. Jack loves children and is generally unbothered by large dogs, though a meet-and-greet would still be necessary. He does okay with cats as long as everyone is given enough time to get used to each other.

Ideal Home

Jack would do well in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can spend time taking in the fresh air. He is not a fan of small dogs.

Ongoing Health

Jack is neutered and up to date on his rabies vaccine. He has been seen by a vet and has been deemed in good health.

Training & Support

Jack is house-trained.
