Precious

Precious's story is one of resilience and hope! She arrived at Colonial Capital Humane Society in February 2024 after a difficult past where she spent most of her time chained in a backyard. Her puppies have all found their loving homes, and now it's Precious's turn to find her forever family. She's a smart girl who enjoys long walks in the park and is very treat-motivated – hot dogs are her absolute favorite!

Ideal Home

Precious can be a bit selective with other dogs and may bark at new people, but she's working on building trust and will blossom with patience and understanding.

Ongoing Health

Precious is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which is being provided by Colonial Capital Humane Society.

Training & Support

Precious has learned many new commands since arriving at CCHS and is very eager to please, especially when treats are involved!
