Meet Kardi! She's a sweet 8-year-old female Boxer ready to find her perfect "forever foster" retirement home. Kardi is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and currently enjoying life in Seattle, WA. She landed in our care due to a change in her family's living situation, but this gentle girl is eager to share her boundless love as a devoted companion.
Kardi has gracefully aged out of her puppy years and has embraced the role of the ultimate couch potato. Her favorite pastime is snuggling up on the bed or couch with her beloved humans, enjoying lazy days side-by-side. Prepare to be amazed by the softest Boxer fur you've ever felt!
This special girl has shown a wonderfully gentle nature with the toddler in her foster home, embodying patience and kindness. She's also a dream during grooming sessions, handling baths with ease, which helps keep her looking and feeling her best. Kardi does have minor back-end mobility issues, but they don't stop her from enjoying life, including running, playing, and easily navigating stairs. She's still perfectly capable of hopping up for those cherished couch and bed snuggles and is happy with gentle, leisurely activities that match her pace.
Kardi would be content as a solo pup or with a canine sibling. She's thriving with her foster sisters and has truly blossomed since joining the pack, showcasing her social and adaptable spirit. Mealtimes are a breeze with Kardi; she free-feeds and is excellent about not overeating.
Ideal Home
Kardi would do best in a home with a work-from-home or retired family who can provide her with plenty of company and regular potty breaks. While she can manage stairs, a single-story home would be ideal for her long-term comfort and ease. She will truly thrive in a quiet, calm environment where she can relax and enjoy her golden years.
Ongoing Health
Kardi has very minor back-end mobility issues, but they do not prevent her from enjoying her life to the fullest.
Training & Support
Kardi is a well-behaved girl who is a dream during grooming and bath time. She also has no issues with free-feeding and is great about not overeating.
