Meet Farley, a spirited 2-year-old, 55-pound Pit Bull and Husky mix bursting with energy and love! Farley is an active, high-drive dog who is always eager for adventure. He’s a playful and fun companion with a big personality, though he's still learning to channel his excitement appropriately. Because he can get a bit jumpy and mouthy when he's really thrilled, he'll benefit from consistent training and clear boundaries. Food is a fantastic motivator for Farley, which will be a great asset in his training journey. However, he can be a little too quick and grabby when taking treats due to his excitement, so he needs gentle guidance to learn patience and impulse control. Farley is reactive towards other dogs and will require a home that can safely manage and work through these behaviors. Given his energy and training needs, he's not the best fit for homes with young children. Farley needs a committed and experienced adopter, preferably someone familiar with training or working breeds, who can offer him plenty of exercise, structure, and ongoing support. With the right person, Farley has the potential to blossom into an amazing best friend!

Training & Support
Farley is an active dog who can pull excessively on the leash, jump in excitement, and become mouthy when excited. He is very food motivated but may bite hard and quick to take a treat, so treats must be thrown for safety. He is reactive to other dogs and will need a home that understands how to manage and work through these behaviors safely and responsibly. Continued structure, training, and consistency will help him build better manners and impulse control.
