Everyone meet Lulu!

This gorgeous 2-year-old Husky mix is one of our newest arrivals from our incredible rural shelter partner, and we are so excited to help her find the forever family she's been waiting so patiently for.

Lulu's story is one we hear far too often. She came from a home where there were simply too many animals for one owner to care for. She arrived at the shelter alongside several other dogs, and while every single one of her former companions has found a home, sweet Lulu has somehow been left behind.

Now it's her turn.

Lulu is everything you love about a Husky-smart, adventurous, and full of personality!

She absolutely loves car rides and is always ready for the next adventure. Looking for a hiking buddy? Lulu is your girl! She enjoys exploring the backyard and is convinced she's going to dig up buried treasure one day. She has the cutest little habit of collecting her favorite toys and treasures into one special pile. She's happy to share with her humans, but she'd really prefer other animals admire her collection from afar. She's completely housebroken because this princess has manners.

Lulu has done well around other dogs and cats, though she appreciates having her own space-especially when it comes to her prized possessions.

She is heartworm negative, fully vetted, and more than ready to leave shelter life behind for good.

Lulu has already waited far longer than she should have. We know her perfect family is out there-we just need them to see her.
