Whiskey

Whiskey is a charming 5-year-old, 20-pound companion who arrived at Wags after being found as a stray. Though he was loved by his finders and even began some training, he wasn't the best fit for their family. Now, he's with us to complete his heartworm treatment and find his perfect forever home. Whiskey can be a little shy initially, but once he warms up, he becomes your most devoted friend! He's the ideal size for a lap buddy and loves to follow you around the house, making him the perfect shadow.

Ideal Home

Whiskey would thrive in an all-adult home where he can enjoy leisurely walks and cozy cuddle sessions. He prefers a quieter environment and may find a home with younger children a bit overwhelming due to their noise and movement.

Ongoing Health

Whiskey is currently managing high blood pressure with daily medication and is on a special diet to support his kidneys. He is also mostly blind in one eye, but this doesn't hinder his enjoyment of walks or cuddle time. A daily eye drop helps maintain his eye health.

Training & Support

Whiskey is a smart boy who has already begun his training. He's eager to please and will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal friend.
