Nala's journey began on the streets, where she learned to make a home out of very little and followed people, especially children, with hopes of being chosen. Now in foster care, her true personality shines through. She's playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy, often entertaining herself by tossing her toys and playing fetch. Nala is a social butterfly with other dogs and people, and she's already mastered crate training and the "sit" command, with "stay" and "wait" in progress. While she's getting the hang of leash walking, her excitement for the world sometimes gets the better of her. Give Nala about 30 minutes to warm up, and she'll blossom into your most loyal companion, eager to shower you with love. She'd thrive in a home that cherishes a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to helping her build even more confidence.

Transportation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
