Meet Arlo, a sweet and energetic boy who recently turned one year old and weighs 55 lbs. He's looking for his forever home where he can play to his heart's content!
Arlo is a true family dog who loves his human foster brother as much as he loves playing with his dog foster siblings. He enjoys roughhousing and playing chase with other young dogs who can keep up with his boundless energy. Despite his size, Arlo is still very much a puppy, and you can expect some enthusiastic mouthing during play. He tends to nibble on other dogs when playing, which they don't always appreciate. Because of his high-energy nature, Arlo is usually too much for senior dogs and cats.
Arlo adores other dogs, people, and truly embraces all the joys life has to offer with big puppy love. He is also a big fan of giving kisses, which can sometimes turn into playful puppy nibbles. Arlo currently lives harmoniously with a 4-year-old boy, whom he loves to play with and protect. He also shares his home with nine foster siblings and is a people-pleaser who knows some commands and is working on others.
Arlo is crate trained, leash trained, and loves car rides. He is fully vetted and microchipped, ready to join his new family.
Ideal Home
Arlo would thrive in an active home with a playful canine companion who matches his energy, or with a family or person who enjoys long walks, plenty of playtime, and cozy cuddles afterward. Be prepared for a full lap and lots of puppy kisses, as Arlo thinks he's a lap dog despite his size!
Ongoing Health
Arlo is fully vetted and microchipped.
Training & Support
Arlo is crate trained and leash trained. He is working on refining his play-style, as his puppy mouthing can sometimes be a bit much for other dogs.
