Cane

Meet Cane, a 3-year-old, 68-pound sweetheart with the sweetest brown eyes and a heart just as warm. Cane is easy to walk and loves exploring the world one sniff at a time. He's gentle, sweet, and affectionate, taking treats with perfect manners and offering soft kisses in return. Car rides and playing ball are the best! And he’s a great patio buddy, particularly if hamburger is involved.

Cane melts for pets all over, especially a good belly or neck rub, and he's always happy to bury his head in your lap for snuggles. He enjoys being outside, sniffing around, and soaking up attention. Cane has done well meeting other dogs and loves spending time in doggy daycare, romping around with other dogs. He is friendly, curious, and always hoping for a new playmate.

Ideal Home

A home with a buddy would be great, and a fenced-in backyard is even better.

Ongoing Health

Cane is in good health and has no known medical issues.

Training & Support

His love of treats makes him highly motivated to learn new things, and he has learned a lot in formal training. Cane enjoys eating his meals and napping in his crate with the door open. He does best with being left uncrated when his foster is going out. He is non-destructive, sits in a cat tree surveying the backyard awaiting their return. Cane has also done well with his potty training, with no accidents. He learned how to use the doggy doorbell in two demonstrations.
