Meet Kalena, a resilient and loving pitbull mix with a heart full of hope. Found in a dire situation, Kalena's journey has been one of survival and healing. Despite her paperwork indicating she is one year old, her wise eyes and demeanor suggest she might be closer to 4-5 years old, having experienced hardships beyond her years. It is believed she may have been used for breeding, making her current rehabilitation all the more special. Kalena is slowly discovering the joys of being cherished and is diligently working on her training and building trust. She is ready to find a patient and experienced adopter to continue her journey to a forever home.

Ideal Home

Kalena would thrive as the only pet in the home. While she may eventually be able to live with a well-matched puppy with continued training, she is not a good fit for homes with cats. Due to her exuberance and lack of boundary awareness, Kalena would do best in a home without children.
