Bandit AW

Bandit is a female German Shepherd mix with a touch of Husky, born on July 21, 2025. Weighing in at 71 pounds in early March, she's a big girl still growing into her paws. Bandit is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventions. She had a bit of a "husky flair" from her dad, who was 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky. Bandit is a bundle of energy and excitement, who loves to play outdoors, chase balls, and chew on bones. Her favorite game involves de-stuffing plush toys at lightning speed! She's a total sweetheart with people, loves to snuggle, and gives kisses freely. Bandit is also great with children, though she can sometimes get a little overexcited and accidentally knock over younger kids, which she quickly apologizes for with kisses. She currently lives with an outdoor cat who keeps her distance, so her compatibility with friendly felines is unknown.

Ideal Home

Bandit would thrive in an active family that enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures. She gets along well with other dogs and is playful with her foster siblings. Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is not yet crate-trained, but her foster family is working on it. She is also receiving leash training and is being helped to become more comfortable meeting new people. She can be a little reserved initially but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats.
