Augie

Augie is a 1.5 to 2-year-old, 55 lb Border Collie mix who is learning to be the very best dog he can be! He's a quick learner with a playful spirit, and his foster says he loves to prove them right. Augie is already potty-trained, using a bell to let you know when he needs to go outside. He's also mastering the "sit" command, especially for mealtime and when getting his leash on or off. Augie's favorite game is hide-and-seek with his plushie friends, and he enjoys learning new things and having fun with his people. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and is ready to start the day with breakfast.

Ideal Home

Augie can be a little unsure around new people, but with proper introductions and patience, he warms up nicely. He does well with older children who understand how to be gentle and respectful. We are unsure how Augie would do with cats as he has not met one yet.
