Mars

Meet Mars, a delightful 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs between 45-50 lbs. Mars had a rough start, found wandering after being abandoned, but he's now in the care of a local dog trainer and blossoming into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and clearly loves meeting new people. Mars is a social butterfly who enjoys playing with other energetic dogs, and with gentle guidance, he could also share his home with feline friends. He'd be best suited for a family with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over during his playful exuberance. His recall is fantastic, and we're confident he'll make an amazing companion.

Ideal Home

Mars would thrive in a home with older children. He is also comfortable with other dogs and could live with cats with proper introductions and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has begun the slow-kill treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to continue his treatment.

Training & Support

Mars is learning to be a dog again with his trainer and is showing great progress. He is not yet house-trained.
