Shirley

Meet Shirley, a 2-year-old Formosan Mountain Dog mix who weighs around 34 lbs. Shirley was found abandoned and tied to a tree in a remote mountain village in Taiwan, without any shelter, food, or water. Despite her difficult start, she's blossomed into an easy-going, friendly, playful, and sweet companion. Shirley is house-trained and doesn't have chewing or barking issues. She also shows no possessive behaviors with food or toys.

Ideal Home

Shirley would thrive in an active home with an experienced, understanding, and patient dog owner. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, but would prefer a home without young children under 10 years old. She also does best when not left alone for more than 6 hours a day. Shirley loves to be on the couch with her people!

Ongoing Health

Shirley is up-to-date on her vaccines and has had a blood panel done. She is considered pretty healthy.

Training & Support

Shirley is already house-trained and doesn't have any chewing or barking issues. She does need to be taken out for a pee break about 4 times a day and prefers to do her business in a fenced yard or during walks.

Shirley is located in the Lower Mainland, B.C. and will only be adopted within this area.
