Hi there, I'm Vega! I'm a 6-year-old, 70-pound, brindle and white boxer with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. My foster mom says I'm incredibly loving, smart, and always up for exploring. I absolutely love to play and run, and my eagerness to please, especially with a tasty treat, makes training a joy! I'm already neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm all set to join your family. My high drive makes me a super fun companion, and my foster mom believes I'd excel at dog sports!
Ideal Home
I'm looking for an active owner who can keep up with my adventurous spirit and provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I'm not a couch potato and thrive with a firm, consistent owner. While I'm great with kids, I do best with older children due to my size and energy. I am dog selective, so slow introductions to other dogs are a must. Unfortunately, I should not live with cats or other small animals due to my high prey drive.

Training & Support
I can be a bit reactive in my crate and experience some barrier frustration, but I'm making great progress in learning to manage these behaviors. I also need some additional leash training as I tend to pull hard. A gentle leader or similar device might be helpful as I learn to walk more politely.
