Vanilla -- please read description

Vanilla is a 10-month-old, 15-20 lb bundle of sweetness! He's a mix of Miniature Schnauzer and who knows what else from his dad's side, but we do know his mom was a black Schnauzer mix. He's been doing great with the dogs in his current home and we'd love to see that continue for a smooth transition into his forever family. Vanilla is also friendly with kids and is happily house-trained and leash-trained. He is not hypoallergenic, so please be aware of that. Sadly, Vanilla is being returned because a husband in the home developed allergies.

Ideal Home

Vanilla would thrive in a home with another dog. Your resident dog should be between 15-30 pounds and no older than 4 or 5 years old. He's happy to be left alone for 6-8 hours if necessary, and he doesn't show any signs of separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Vanilla is not hypoallergenic. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Vanilla is house-trained and leash-trained, but he is not crate-trained. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is kid-friendly. We don't know how he is with cats.
