Oliver

Oliver is a handsome boy with a gentle heart and a quiet, sensitive personality. He was born around 2020 and came to us when his family could no longer care for him after his owner passed away a few years ago. Oliver has been through a lot in his short life, so he needs someone with time and patience to give him the love he deserves. He is a very loyal boy who forms deep bonds once he learns to trust, and he loves staying close to his person. Oliver is a little nervous when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar situations, but underneath his timid exterior is an incredibly loyal dog who just wants to feel safe and loved. He needs someone who will let him discover his new home at his own pace and not rush him. While he may take some time to come out of his shell, watching his confidence slowly grow is incredibly rewarding.

Ideal Home

Oliver thrives in calm environments and would do best in a quieter home with adults or older teens who respect his boundaries. He needs a secure, fenced yard and we do not recommend apartments as he can be a barker sometimes.

Training & Support

Oliver is still working on his confidence and fears. He can be skittish and may growl or snap at people when he gets stressed. He requires an adopter who is willing to work with him on these issues and guide him in a calm environment.
