Honey (24-142 D)

Honey is a sweet young lady who is house-trained and loves her crate. She enjoys rolling in the grass, chasing squeaky toys, chewing on bones, and giving kisses. She's doing well with leash walking and loves to explore the world through her nose. Honey had a tough start in life, found in a city dump with fleas and hair loss due to a skin infection. She's now on prescription food and daily Apoquel, which has greatly improved her skin. She's a cautious dog who loves to snuggle and play, but she'd prefer to be the only pet in the home. She doesn't mind other animals if they keep their distance, but she doesn't like them in her face. Honey would also do best in a quieter home, as she has a "stranger danger" bark when newcomers enter her space. With a few treats, she can easily be won over.

Ideal Home

Honey would thrive in a quiet home where there isn't constant foot traffic. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home and would like other animals to ignore her and keep their distance.

Honey is on prescription food and daily Apoquel to manage a past skin infection.

Training & Support

Honey has a "stranger danger" bark when new people enter her space, though she can be won over with treats. She would benefit from a quieter home environment.
