Meet Rio!

Rio is a 1-year-old, 19lb bundle of love who's a charming mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund. He might be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and a tasty treat, his affectionate and loyal personality will shine through. He enjoys snuggling in blankets and will often peek around corners just to keep an eye on you, his quiet way of showing he cares.

Ideal Home

Rio would do best in a calm home where he can feel safe and secure. He would prefer a home without young children. A fenced-in yard is a must for Rio to continue practicing his leash-walking skills in a safe environment.

Training & Support

Rio is still working on his leash manners and would benefit from an adopter who can help him build confidence. He is potty trained and crate trained, and enjoys having 24/7 access to his crate.
