Suzie is a 38-pound sweet, wiggly pup who has never met a stranger. We believe she is around 2 years old. She'll happily cover you in kisses while her tail wiggles non-stop! Suzie came to us as a stray and had recently had puppies—she was still lactating when found, but sadly her little ones were never located. Despite her rough start, Suzie's spirit shines bright. She's learning her manners and picking them up quickly—especially since she's very food motivated. Suzie is currently attending basic obedience, leash walking, and agility training, and she's doing a great job learning new skills. She loves going to daycare, where she enjoys making new friends and showing off her social butterfly personality. She's always up for an adventure, whether it's exploring a new trail, learning a new trick, or tagging along for a fun outing. When she's not out making friends, Suzie loves playing with her herding balls and happily chewing on her favorite bones. In fact, she loves her bones so much that she'll sometimes carry them along on her walks! But after a day of fun, Suzie's favorite place in the world is snuggled up on the couch with her people. She's a certified snuggle bug who never says no to extra pets, belly rubs, and love. Suzie may be tiny, but her big heart is overflowing with affection, and she's ready to share it with her forever family. Ideal Home
Suzie will do best in a home that will continue her training and help her build on her success. Homes with invisible fences cannot be accommodated due to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots.
Training & Support

- You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
- We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting.
- We do request vet and personal references.
Transporation
Suzie is located at STAF in Cincinnati, Ohio, and can be adopted within a 30-mile radius of the shelter.
