Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! At five months old, he's bold, goofy, and endlessly entertained by absolutely everything around him. He approaches life with the mindset that everything is a game, and he wants to participate! Toys, people, shadows, leaves – it's all exciting, and he meets it with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He's the puppy that keeps things lively, turning ordinary moments into something funny just by being himself.
He loves people deeply, greeting the world like his long-lost best friend. He's wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, with an endearing lack of concept for personal space, typical of a playful pup. After his bursts of play, he's just as quick to flop over and demand belly rubs. Once he's in your arms or at your feet, he settles into complete happiness. There's a big heart behind all that energy; Hot Potato isn't just chaotic for the sake of it – he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect. He wants to be involved, included, and part of the action. With consistency and structure, he will grow into a fun, loyal, and incredibly engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, has been spayed/neutered, and is current on flea prevention. He also received a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.
Training & Support
Hot Potato is a social, affectionate, and eager-to-connect pup. With consistency and structure, he will thrive. Our trainers work with all our dogs on behaviors as needed, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking, to prepare them for their future families.

Transportation
Hot Potato is located in the Greater Houston area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
