Elsa is a 5-year-old, 39 lb Cattle Dog with a heart of a true working dog! She's intelligent, full of energy, and incredibly loyal to her people and her space. Elsa is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can appreciate her unique personality. She's a "look but don't touch" kind of girl until she feels completely secure. She has a history of biting when her personal space is invaded or while being petted, so it's crucial that her adopter understands canine body language and can provide her with the necessary distance to feel safe and comfortable. While she's not a dog who will immediately jump into your lap for cuddles, for the right person who respects her boundaries, she will be a devoted and dedicated companion.

Ideal Home

Elsa would thrive in an adult-only home where she can be the sole pet. She needs a predictable and quiet environment, making her not a good fit for homes with children or cats.
