Meet Ashton! This handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever is ready to fetch his way right into your heart. Ashton is a happy and energetic boy who is adjusting well to shelter life after his previous family had to move. He absolutely loves a game of fetch and will enthusiastically bring the ball back for another round! He enjoys being active and spending quality time with his favorite humans. Ashton is a strong boy with a big personality to match, and while he sometimes forgets his size, he is incredibly sweet and has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will be treated at the shelter. He will need a family dedicated to continuing his monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him healthy and happy.

Training & Support

Ashton is still learning to manage his strength and size, but he's a smart boy eager to please. With patience and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to be a wonderful companion.
