Maverick

Maverick is a stunning 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix boy who came to us after being found as a stray. He is the definition of a certified good boy, with a bright and beautiful personality. Maverick is incredibly smart, calm, and deeply in-tune with his person. He gets along well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows some basic commands. Maverick is active and adventurous, ready to join you on hikes, but he's also happy to snuggle on the couch. His confident and outgoing nature makes him a star with our volunteers and in the play yards. Maverick is a truly special dog, the kind you only meet once in a lifetime! We promised Maverick that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Maverick is described as active and adventurous, enjoying hikes and couch snuggles, suggesting a home that can offer both stimulation and relaxation.

Maverick is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Maverick walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. He is noted as "house trained: No", so continued training in this area will be important.

Transporation

Maverick is located in South Carolina. Transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are provided with an application on file.
